Jerome Russell B Blonde Bleach Review

Since I dye my hair constantly and I am always changing the colour, I obviously bleach my hair. I have used a lot of different bleaches before but the Jerome Russell B Blonde Bleach is the one I have used every time I've bleached my hair over the last year.

Like most bleaches, it does leave your hair dry and has caused my hair to break, so far I have not found that miracle bleach that doesn't damage your hair. The reason I like this bleach is because it really does lift the colour. Recently I have only been using it to bleach my roots as I am happy with blue hair, at the moment. The last time I bleached all of my hair was just before I went blue. The colour I had before was pastel pink, so I didn't have to get rid of a stubborn dark colour. I have used this dye on black hair and it did lift really well.

Since I had pastel pink hair before I bleached it, I was left with mostly blonde hair with some parts of my hair remaining a sort of coral colour. This was not a problem after I used purple shampoo and a toner. Once those were used my hair was a nice light blonde colour, ready for the blue to go on.

The Jerome Russell B Blonde hair dye comes with 4 sachets of powder, you have to buy the peroxide separately. I usually use the 30% peroxide as it is slightly more watery when mixed with the powder, so it is easier to apply. If my hair colour is particularly stubborn I use the 40%. For my whole head of hair I use 2 sachets and 2 bottles to completely cover. I usually have some left over which I then use to make sure the darker bits are more covered. This bleach is really good. It covers stubborn dyes, it had also helped take away some blue, which is a pain to remove.

I would recommend this bleach to anyone that wants really light blonde hair. As I said, it does damage your hair, as do most bleaches. I usually use a deep conditioner or a hair mask after I have bleached my hair to try and restore my hair a little. I try to leave it about a day before I dye my hair, but I am so impatient that I sometimes dye my hair straight after. Another reason I recommend this bleach is the price. In most shops it is £3.99 for the 4 sachets of powder and £1.69 for the bottle of peroxide. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of how my hair looks after I bleach it, but when I next bleach my hair I will upload a picture.

If you know of any Bleach that you would recommend then please, let me know. I will probably be changing my hair to blonde around Christmas so I will be bleaching my hair soon.
